Stinger Football's Home Debut!!!
Congratulations to the Junior boys football team who made history again as they defeated Park Street from Orillia 13 to 8 in our first ever Aquinas Football game on our field.John K opened up the scoring in second quarter but Park battled back to tie the score then take the lead late in the fourth quarter. With minutes left in the game, the defense held Park Street and Aquinas took over. Garrett I scored on a sweep and Gavin W converted. Park took over but fumbled when David A delivered a missile like hit on the Park Street ball carrier sending the ball to the ground. Aquinas recovered and put this one in the win column. This Tuesday, Barrie Central will be coming to Aquinas for a 1:30 kick-off. See you on the field.
